QuickLance.com... Like a good friend that borrowed to much money. lol

Quicklance was my and Joey Toscano's start up business! Joey handled all the heavy programming, and made things work. and I did all the mark up and marketing.

It was subscription based website that connected graphic/web designers with people needing creative work done. The website was awesome... right on par with the big boys. elance creativemoonlighter. Everything was going smoothly it took about 6/mo of me dumping every last dime I had in to marketing to get about 64 paying members but that only generated about 300/mo and the site needed about double that in advertising to keep jobs posted on our project board. Instead of going all in and getting a loan or looking for outside help to keep the site going I just let the thing die. Really really stupid. Looking back the site was doing great and if I would have kept at it eventually the members would have paid for the advertising and I could have ramped things up.

If anyone wants to invest some money, I'm down to give this another go! : )
